Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 2 days in office and 3 days rounds/cases
- Hospital: 8am start – last consult 4pm
- Office: 8am start – last scheduled patient 4pm
- Last groin stick 4:30, Average finish time 5/5:30
Office/Clinic schedule
- 2 days per week and one day a month for new patients
- New Physicians see 1 patient per hour & number is gradually increased over time
- Once ramped up, see 4 established patients per hr or 3 new patients per hour (w APP/RN to help)
Hospital schedule
- 3 days a week
- Mix of hospital rounds and Interventional cases coronary / peripheral cases
- Rounds are at 1 hospital only. 2 hospitals are rare and usually only happen if a high-risk case is done at another facility.
- Option for structural procedures/TAVR if desired
- Peripheral vascular training required
Call schedule
- Interventional Call every 5th week Monday – Sunday
- General Weeknight is Mon-Thurs 1 night Q 2 + weeks
- Weekends include sharing general call and main hospital rounding
Office Reading
- Split between readers
- Can read in office or remotely from hospital or from home
Summary Salary, Paid Time Off, Benefits
- Year 1: $425k + guaranteed bonus $25K
- Year 2: $450k + productivity bonus
- 25 days PTO + 6 holidays + 5 CME days = 36 days annually
